COURSE DESCRIPTION

To advance the knowledge and acquire sailing skills in various weather conditions by day and by night in territorial waters and at open sea. Learn the navigational theory and practices for safe navigation during the day and night. Boat handling under power/sail, fundamentals of meteorology, navigation, sailing terminology, handling ropes and deck equipment, preparation and hoisting of sails, knots and fundamentals of steering, stowing the boat and sails in proper manner.
